Start-up cups

The start-up cup is a combination of start-up and management training. Competing against each other, small teams of students find themselves in the role of entrepreneurs. Various entrepreneurial decisions are simulated during the competition. Up to five companies operate and struggle against each other on a virtual market. Computer software processes the decisions which have been made, thus simulating a competitive environment. Analyses and reports after every round show whether and to what extent the decisions made were successful.

This teaches entrepreneurial thinking and action, and enables those involved to gain practical experience. Participants can gain credit points (see study course information for more details).

The KWT offers a number of variants of the simulation with high-tech bikes, fitness centres, e-commerce, biotech, project management, and general management.
