Business start-up seminar

The Knowledge and Technology Transfer Liaison Office, working together with the Institute for Entrepreneurship and SMEs (Professor Dr. Heinz Kußmaul), has been organising two-week business start-up seminars since 1996.

Over a total of 23 double sessions (weekday evenings, Saturdays during the day), seminar participants gain a basic knowledge of the key areas of business administration and practical issues of business start-ups. Business management theories are put to practical use in case studies where students actively help to find solutions.

Around 30 compact seminars have since been successfully organised: among others, all start-up centre entrepreneurs in the natural sciences have participated in this seminar.
